Although we take great pains to keep this site unbiased and we certainly promote no individual products here, Monavie Inc. is one of the first companies selling Acai-based products that use the freeze-dried, powdered form of Acai berry pulp that the record ORAC assay was based upon.

In these tests, conducted by the originator of the ORAC Assay tests himself, Dr. Charles Schuass, properly freeze-dried Acai has been shown to produce an ORAC score of 1073 TE per gram, which is higher than any other edible food known to mankind.

Of course this test was taken in Brazil and it is very difficult for anyone far from Brazil to achieve such an antioxidant intake.

Dr. Schuass has spoken on behalf of Monavie many times and is even featured in their sales literature. He was additionally a member of the team that helped formulate Monavie, and it is very inspiring to hear him talk about the properties of Acai.

Again, the Acai Research Organization in no way is trying to promote Monavie and you will not find a way to purchase their product on this website nor join in as a distributor. However, it is important to note that much of the research done on the properties of Acai have come directly out of the Monavie research labs, and more specifically, Dr. Schuass' research labs, AIMBR Life Sciences.
